How long does the whole process of initial review, judging and commenting in the Iranian Review of Foreign Affairs take?

We try to evaluate the submitted articles in the shortest possible time. But depending on the speed and cooperation of the respected judges of the Journal, it usually takes between 2 to 4 months.

Does the Iranian Review of Foreign Affairs have a scientific research degree?

Yes. Iranian Review of Foreign Affairs has had a scientific research degree since 2009. But keep in mind that according to the new directive of the Ministry of Science, the previous rating based on scientific-research publications, scientific extension, etc. are no longer valid. Rather, all journals are categorized as "scientific" but their grades (A, B, C, D) will vary.

I am a PhD student in International Relations and I am interested in judging articles, how should I proceed?

You can check the refereeing section when registering in the IRFA Journal so that your name is registered in the list of reviewers of articles. It is better to specify your main field of work so that the editors of the quarterly can refer to you related articles.

Does the IRFA journal charge for judging or publishing? If so, how much does it cost?

At present, the IRFA journal does not charge for judging or publishing articles. From the beginning of 1400, according to the Policy Council, quarterly articles may be subject to arbitration and publication fees.
